Liz always knew she wanted to travel the world, so at 19 armed with her first passport, film camera and Lonely Planet, she headed to the continent that had intrigued her most from her hours scouring the pages of National Geographic Magazines – Africa.

Diving in headfirst, first stop was Egypt (the first of numerous visits to this fascinating country) where she reveled in the rich history and culture, followed by an unforgettable safari through East Africa.

This was just the start, and after almost a decade of explorations and immersing herself in living overseas, Liz returned to Australia. Here she found a career in the travel industry where daily she could be inspired, challenged and rewarded by assisting others to fulfill their own travel dreams.

After 15 years and now with 2 young children, she took another leap and departed on a 2.5 year journey around Australia.

It took travelling all over the world to really appreciate how incredibly unique our own country is.

Liz believes that travel is our greatest classroom and should be experienced by everyone, from the young to the young at heart.

It teaches us about diverse cultures and immerses us in history. Travel encourages us to live in the moment, appreciate experiences and seek out adventure –

after all life should be a grand adventure!

Patti is on a mission to see the world.
She started her career in travel, but thinking she was being responsible her path took her in another direction.
So, Patti chose a career in banking, whilst raising 4 children and dabbling in hospitality.

With her love of food, entertaining and engaging with the public she then went on to buy and grow a successful and award-winning restaurant.
A few more years back in banking and once again Patti turned to hospitality, this putting her hardwork into running a successful café.

When Patti decided to go on an overseas adventure, Michelle at Adventum Travel organised everything, and Patti decided she never wanted to come home.
A whole new world had opened, so when an opportunity to join the Adventum Travel team arose, there was no looking back.
Patti is back on her original path and following her passion to see the world and work in a dynamic travel environment.
