Adventum Travel ensured our holiday in Europe went smoothly and we could relax and enjoy ourselves.  Michelle’s knowledge in helping us plan our trip meant we didn’t miss out on trip highlights and ensured we stayed within our budget.  There were so many highlights including  trekking around Mont Blanc and watching the Henley Rowing Regatta.

Excellent planning and coordination for our recent Vietnam trip – a family of six, within a party of 18! Flexibility and tailoring of the options were key. Liz managed us with aplomb!

Adventum Travel brought me up to speed with modern travel!  Michelle was so experienced with so many places in the world and was able to help us with advice on places to stay in our chosen destinations.  Having our train tickets and seats booked in advance worked well.  Also Michelle was able to reserve airline seats for us which were great, even though we booked quite late . The Unmapped app was new to us but Michelle was very patient and it’s actually super easy.  We now have confidence with using our phones for checking in and boarding passes and hotel bookings etc with Michelle’s guidance.

Thanks to Liz, the planning for our European holiday was so easy – we drove a hire car around Scotland for 2 weeks and then visited places in the Netherlands, France, Switzerland, and Italy. We started with a vague idea of where we wanted to go and Liz was so helpful in fleshing out our ideas and coming up with suggested itineraries.

Liz completely took the pressure off finding accommodation, booking flights, trains, insurance and hire car. She was always quick to respond to any of our questions and was always amenable to make changes as we went through the process. Our holiday went off without a hitch – we highly recommend Liz, we worked together to put our trip together but without her I’d still be sitting at my computer scratching my head!

We were thinking about travelling to the NT as a family for five years, though it was not until we had a meeting with Michelle did we bite the bullet on organising our holiday as we were overwhelmed by the geographical distance across the entire state and how to best spend our time.

Michelle really listened to us in a face-to-face meeting and then followed up promptly and guided us step by step to create an amazing itinerary. We had so many amazing experiences from Uluru – Kiings Canyon – Alice Springs – Darwin – Katherine – Litchfield National Park! We conquered the NT and it’s next level scenery, awesome adventures and once in a lifetime moments that we will all treasure for years to come.

Highly recommend Michelle, as it removed the fear of organising an epic trip and we are so thankful to have these memories.

We recently went on a 6 week holiday to Egypt and Vietnam. Liz booked all our flights and accommodation and transfers. Everything went so smoothly. She even arranged special considerations for my autistic child with Emirates, who prioritised our seating and boarding, at no extra cost.  Liz organised a full itinerary for us on the Umapped app which was absolutely invaluable. She was so helpful with any questions or queries I had and such a pleasure to deal with. I cannot recommend her highly enough and will continue to book all our future trips with her!

Liz did a wonderful job helping my sister and I with our Japan trip. She’s the best at organising and finding great deals as well as amazing communication! 

Our recent family trip to Japan was made so much easier with Liz’s help.

The sheer size and number of options of where to stay in Japan was overwhelming, so it was great to hear of Liz and Michelle’s experiences and their recommendations for the most convenient accommodation and best ski locations for us to be able to get the most out of our trip.

We really enjoyed all the suggestions of places to visit, and our holiday had something for everyone.

Highlights included – skiing in Hakuba, Teamlab Planets, National Sumo Tournament and Ninja/Samurai experience, as well as the many food markets and temples.

It really was the best holiday ever.

In the start we had troubles finding the right flights as it was a busy time of year leading up to Christmas. Michelle persevered with wait-lists and follow-up calls, and managed to secure us RTW tickets which worked perfectly for our itinerary. All our flights and train travel were hassle free planned to perfection. Michelle also gave us fantastic recommendations for little places to stay and activities we would both enjoy.

Oh and the travel app we were set up on was just the best! Having all our bookings in the one spot made things so much easier.

Highlights were snow skiing in Zell Am See, camel riding in Morocco and everything about New York!

Having just returned from a round the world family trip this Summer, visiting 6 cities, 4 continents in 30 days, trying to book all the flights and get the best deals seemed overwhelming at the start but thanks to Michelle and her expertise she found us the best route, flight times and price!  We had the trip of a life time, made amazing memories and everything went smoothly (even with some last minute flight time changes!)

The Waddells had a cracker trip to Europe in the summer of 2023. Michelle’s attention to detail meant the whole trip went very smoothly despite heat, fires and various unforeseen happenings. The great thing is that she’ll take your call at 3 in the morning to sort something out which gives such comfort. Highly recommended.

I have been using the services of Adventum Travel for nearly a year now. Michelle initially took the time to meet up with me in the City for a coffee, where she carefully listened to my needs and identified all our travel “likes” and “dislikes” (we’re a blended family of 7 – a real-life Brady bunch!), as we have quite a diverse set of holiday destination interests. Shortly thereafter she presented me with a great list of travel options for my previously raised ideas – some family friendly, others for just for my wife and I. She was equally attentive and responsive to all my follow up requests, which resulted in us booking all our entire 2020 travel needs in February already, and happily removing all the stress that that would have involved for us, as both my wife and I have challenging full-time professional roles. Then Covid-19 hit, resulting in the inevitable – trip postponements and even cancellations. This is where Michelle really shone – she quietly took over and managed all the hotel and airline discussions, and either rebooked our travel dates or managed to obtain full refunds, all with her trademark cheery demeanour!

Michelle was a great resource for our first trip to Japan – she had some perfect suggestions, including walking a section of the beautiful Nakasendo way, a lovely boutique hotel in Kyoto in a perfect location and invaluable tips for travelling in Japan, as she had just returned from a family holiday there.

Our second trip to Uluru was very memorable. Michelle once again organised flights and accommodation, but also was a wealth of knowledge when it came to activities and potential experiences. She was also very good at organising a last-minute car rental when our 3-hour transfer to Kings Canyon was cancelled – She had organised the car and contingency plan before telling us that it had been cancelled, making the whole process seamless. We had awesome “bucket list” activities booked and confirmed for us, and if I needed to know anything further, a quick email or SMS was promptly responded too

With international travel currently looking like a far-off dream, we couldn’t recommend Michelle’s services more highly, especially when it comes to discovering some incredible places within Australia’s borders.
